Dell Introduces Software to Increase Application Performance
Dell has announced the Dell Precision Performance Optimizer (DPPO), software that automatically configure the Dell Precision workstation settings to maximize the performance of applications engineering, design and digital content creation. DPPO previously been filled with profiles for popular applications such as Autodesk Maya, SolidWorks Dassault PTC Creo and that will set the settings to optimize system performance after activated. Additional features include a proactive system maintenance and tracking, as well as reports on system utilization can help to improve and accelerate the time to design and rendering.
With the automatic performance optimization, once activated, the software will automatically adjust the system configuration, such as CPU, memory, storage, graphics and operating system settings so application support is enabled. It allows one to improve the performance of workstations quickly when switching between applications and projects.
"Broadcast and video professionals who demand high performance and increased speed to run Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects optimally, their system can be restored to the highest performance for their applications with DPPO technology," said Simon Williams, Director of Strategic Relationships Adobe.
Dell Precision Performance Optimizer is available free and already installed on the workstation Dell Precision T1650, T3600, T5600, T7600, M4700 and M6700 with operating system Windows 7 (32 & 64 bit) and Windows 8 (64 bit) and can be downloaded at the official website of Dell .
